Tips for install is to heat the plastic more than you’d like both ball joint and female ends. I broke the black female end of the ball joint on the new mirror and needed to cut the black part off both what came on the car and the blue mirror then I used adhesive tape to tape it back on which from factory they used adhesive tape so I assume it should be okay.
