Maybe it was important, maybe not, but I was set up to fix it so I fixed it before even powering on. If buying, make sure to carefully inspect ALL the surface-mount parts on the underside of the board to look for similar damage. And don't forget to upgrade the old vulnerable BIOS/BMC firmware. Passes memtest86+ and all the ports I need (SATA, USB 3, Ethernet) work. Good value.
