    This Tailgate assist is a great item. Strongly recommended.

    I had purchased a tailgate assist piston on another truck of mine and loved it. Now I had purchased a newer truck and I just had to get another one. This makes it so easy and safer to lower the tailgate. I highly recommended it. If your tailgate drops fast and is heavy your going to love it too. Easy to install all you will need is an allen wrench and a wrench to turn the nut. the kit comes with a Torx wrench to remove the gate pin. Takes about 15 minutes.

    It's so nice to have well written directions, although the install is pretty self explanatory. The quality of the product is great you can tell just by the way the materials feel. When you open the tailgate after having this installed its like the tailgate just floats down nice and soft. I have a 2014 F150 Limited and this simple little mod just adds to the luxury of the truck. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that has an F-150. You won't be disappointed!
