Also bought a refurbished DAC. It was as new as well. I think it was probably a return, checked out and sold as a refurb. No issues, have had them on for most of two weeks to catch any problems...there have been none.

Paired with a Geshelli DAC and the music is flowing beautifully. I love an amp designed for an external DAC and the phono stage is VG. Some may not like the infinite volume knob design, but it is needed with the remote control.. I am running 2.2 stereo. Not a home theater person. Enjoy the music!!!

Definitely a more "British sound" with its recessed midrange, but not overly so. Low end is weighty and smooth, but not sloppy. Treble could be more pronounced, so running treble at +2dB is perfect. Very compact, which was what I was looking for also.

PLEASE don't hesitate from purchasing these as "refurbished" as I received a pair - one has a SLIGHT scratch on the bottom while I'm scratching my head on the other being classified this way. They're packaged WELL using bubble-wrap, individual boxes then a shipping box lined with paper to stabilize the shipment! WAY to go Cambridge Audio USA, taking care of the customer. These MIN 22's are just the ticket handling 25 - 200 Watts!
