      The perfect size capsule

      I take this supplement at 2 x 3 capsules / day. Little or no flush. Only because one has to accommodate to the dosage starting at lower levels and working up. To those complaining about the flush...it's not the product; it's not gradually working up to the level you desire. I take this in lieu of statins for cholesterol / blood lipids.

      Read the side effects before ordering or taking these megadose pills.

      After taking the first pill, my face was on fire as were my arms. I had blurred vision and my heart was racing. I should have gone online and read the side effects before ordering or paid more attention to the warning on the bottle. My fault, but my dermatologist should have advised me of the side effects when she recommended this vitamin. Thank goodness that I had eaten before I took the pill or I could have had more problems.

      Pay more for the flush free Niacin!

      I would strongly urge everyone to get the flush free kind of Niacin. This brand makes me feel a heat flash for at least an hour along with itching and a prickly feeling! Not very pleasant at all!

      Not a fan

      Taking this product is like having a really bad sunburn all over your body. I am assuming that was the flush feeling this product is known for, not a fan. I took 1000mg when I received it, got completely red from head to toe and was tingling all over. This lasted for about an hour before symptoms went away. Threw remaining product in the garbage. You can make your own decisions about this product but I have already made mine.

      I have taken extended release Niacin in the past.

      I have taken niacin in the past for cholesterol with no issue. The niacin I took has extended release nicotinic acid. This product also has nicotinic acid. I got a horrible niacin flush from this product. I threw the bottle out after trying for 3 days.
