I now have a working Hoover Floormate for around $30, which is a heck of a lot cheaper than a new equivalent. Manufacturer no longer makes the part. Had to go to Youtube to figure out which 19 screws to remove; there's a video for -everything- on Youtube. A #2 Phillips screwdriver did the trick and was easy.
