    Exactly what I was looking for and works!

    Saw came as expected and included blade and rip fence. Plate is good and all bolts work and angle, tighten, and loosen well. Got my batteries and charger elsewhere and confirmed saw works great. Minor negligible damage to the handle but I’m totally fine with that. Great value!!

    safety design ruins the saw

    The safety has no way of manually moving it out of the way.. so you must use a nail or screw to wedge it open. this makes the saw very dangerous, i don't know what Makita was thinking. all the other manufactures have a lever to move the safety,, plus its under powered..don't buy this saw its not very usable...

    New Makita 6 1/2" saw

    Great tool. We are hard pressed to drag out a corded saw anymore. Thought a older one had bit the dust and could not face the thought of only one in the truck. Bought to replace the old horse. Was able to replace the controller and new life yea! Now I got a brand new one in reserve. Would normally pass the old one on to some one but no one worthy right now. Got three and use them every day

    Oh my gosh! How did I ever live without...

    Oh my gosh! How did I ever live without a battery operated makita circular saw?!?! It is light as a feather, cuts wood like butter and operates on a battery. It’s perfect for when standing on top of a ladder and making cuts above my head.

    Totally like brand new

    Works great. No complaints except the packaging which was just the saw in a box with a scrap of crumpled paper next to it for "padding," which provided no padding. That being said, the saw was fine bouncing around in there and showed no signs of damage from the flimsy packaging. Still five stars.
