      Susan Bates Luxite Crochet Hooks

      These are my favorite plastic crochet hooks. The are well made, smooth, and warm to the hand. They slide easily through the yarn, but are not slick as some plastic hooks are. They are inexpensive, which makes them nice for use in teaching situations. I give them to my students. The smallest hooks are prone to breakage, but the price mean they can be easily replaced. I strongly recommend them. Michelle.

      Susan Bates In-line Crochet Hooks

      I bought these in-lne crochet hooks to better control guage,as opposed to tapered hooks which narrow in the throat toward the head. They feel soft and warm against my fingers and handle more securely than bamboo counterparts. Six most-used sizes F5/3.75mm, G6/4.0mm, H8/5.0mm, I9/5.5mm, J10/6.0mm, and K10.5/6.5mm. Only wish at least one rendition of the sizes were marked on the hooks, but they are plain white & I could ID them as I choose with a permanent marker..

      Love these hooks

      Okay, so I'm biased. These are the crochet hooks I used growing up, so I'm comfortable with them. That said, they really are the best. Less wrist action (saves the joint), good grip on the yarn, good slide through the loop, smooth and easy. One note: don't use these hooks with cotton or cotton blend yarn. The only reason I'm having to buy new ones is because cotton is stronger than these hooks, and yeah, I broke two of them. Use metal hooks for cotton, these for just about everything else.

      Easy glide hooks.

      These hooks are excellent for yarns that separate while working with them. They glide easily through the stitches, and they have a little flexibility making some stitches easier to maneuver.
