Seller stated that the item was in a shipping container that gets flooding and run off from flooding. I told seller that I didn't want flood or mildew damaged items, and asked to cancel. The seller refuses to cancel the order, even though it never shipped. I would not recommend buying anything from this seller.

      Workable paints for beginning or experienced painters on a budget

      Ordering this Grumbacher set for the first time in years on a shoestring took me back to the first Christmas that my parents gave me a 6 color set at age 10. This set came with a high quality round point-tipped brush that does not shed and a plastic palette that nests perfectly under the tube tray.

      I have always had a good experience with grumbacher's watercolors. It is my favorite. That being said this review is based on my previous use of it as my husband has been in the hospital the last few weeks and have had no time to paint!

      Great deal!

      The palette was good quality. Not flimsy like you would buy on Amazon. The brush was a Grumbacher #6 round!!!! The paint tubes were a little smaller than I thought they would be. But just the right size to travel with. I actually did a happy dance.

      Worth the money

      The colors are bright and well pigmented. A definite step up from my debutant set. The included brush tend to lose hairs here and there, but it's fine for practice exercises.
