      Great - Brand name critical for users of this product brand.

      The only brand small trap that works every time. The only brand i buy anymore ! Its quick to close so no getting away or just injured. And NO taken bait but got away. No diffiiculty setting and no breaking parts. Don't waste money and add to landfill trash with cheaply made and priced traps. Because easy to empty and sterilize for repeated use. If live in country or rural areas, you get mice in spring and fall, its a part of life, they get in small cracks and stay until captured. I prefer a live trap and release but often in a place that cannot be checked frequently to reduce trauma of capture so more humane to quickly control and prevent possible diseases from small wildlife in home.

      the ones I received had no victor printing, looked like they had been sitting somewhere for a long time with the springs rusty, were not in original victor packaging, just an envelope. DO not buy these. Original victor traps have the printing, are in a sealed package since they have a scent for mice that victor puts on the yellow lever.....original victors of this type work great these do NOT.

      Victor = winner

      The Victor M325 is the best all round mouse trap. Great for indoor and outdoor use. When a single mouse invades a pest free island we depend on Victor traps to catch it. Over the years we have found that the Victor M325 mouse traps are the most reliable (simple trigger), most durable (easy to maintain) mouse trap on market. If using outdoors best used in a simple single-entrance tunnel to direct the mouse to the correct end of the trap, this also avoids non-target e.g. bird interference. To enhance durability remove plastic treadle and spray metal parts with neutral cooking oil before use in field.

      Good ole fashioned traps

      These types are getting hard to find in stores these days. Who wants to deal with a glue trap or something that holds the mouse there til it starves to death or drowns it in a bucket of water. I’d much rather kill it quickly and humanely. I usually tape a large fender washer under the yellow plastic to add weight, so it’s more sensitive and will release the trap every time. Even though I have to modify them, they’re still the best choice on the market.

      Best design trap I have used in more than 50 years

      I started using this style after finding one along the road while taking a walk. I quickly learned how much easier this design is to set and that it is more foolproof than others. I have quite a few traps set in my old houseand barn and often the peanutbutter is removed from others without the trap being sprung. This type has worked beter for me. So I decided to replace the old ones with more of this style.
