The key to keeping this type of hose usable for several years is to KEEP IT OUT OF THE SUN! I put mine on a hose reel that sits on the side of my home that faces the sun all day long, so I just cover the reel with a black plastic leaf/trash bag. Cheap and works fine. Price was right on this, shipping was a bit slow which was the Post Office's problem (with NO tracking during shipping!). Good seller.
