    Vornado fans are the best!!

    Vornado fans are the best designed fan available. They throw air better than any other brand. This fan IS quiet on low speed but does get louder with each level increase and is medium loud on High speed.

    Best small size high velocity fan I can find to run 24 hours a day continously.

    I have a strange air flow in my home for a solar system AC/heat pump wall unit and had to install a vent on the far side from the wall unit to keep air flow moving around up to a second floor. I installed a 12" inch duct 4' feet long and a plastic ring around the top. Removed the base off the Vornado and it fits perfectly at the top to point the air flow either from the 1st floor or reversed. It's high flow 300+ CFM keeps the heat and AC air generated on the 1st floor by the solar AC/heat pump system going from the 1st floor to the second keeping the air temp throughout very close to the same. I'm also running this Vornado fan on solar which keeps my electric bill small.
