This seller was excellent - the platter is just as pictured and described, the price was reasonable and had free shipping which is always a plus. It was packed very carefully and shipped quickly with accurate shipping details so I could track it. I'll return to this seller again for more shopping.

It's certainly impossible to put all the great art of the Western world in one book, but this collection does an outstanding job of the next best thing simply because of the discriminating choices on what to include. The reproductions are lovely and each piece exemplifies the best work of the artists represented. As someone who loves to take inspiration from the great painters of yore, to be able to turn the pages from one century to the next and get a feeling for the dialog and the flow from one set of masters to the next is wonderful.
