Using this Sony soundbar ( 35 inches long) & subwoofer with a Yamaha 5 disc CD Player via optical cable and the sound is beautiful. Set the subwoofer volume to your liking with remote. Soundbar max volume is 100, but it is plenty loud at 55. My room is 15' x 15' . It gets my recommendation. Competitively priced !
