      Good quality film/print scanner for price - easy to use

      For a non GA dedicated unit - works quite well. Does a decent job with its 'auto color correct' most of time. For serious users - the 'professional mode' is the only way to go. Capable of very high quality scans if using fluid mounting. But that applies to GA and drum scanners also.

      Good resolution over a wide range of source material.

      Product scans photos, negatives and slides. I am still learning how to optimize for best image quality from lower quality slides and negatives.

      Great scanner

      Despite all of the manuals being printed in Japanese, the scanner was easy to set up and use. I've run several 35 mm negatives & slides (see images) through it and have had no issues or problems getting the results that I'm looking for.
