        It's a sega genesis emulator ..

        Not a Genesis if you know that you won't be disappointed . I have not tested cart slot but it has 37 genesis game built in. And a lot of casual games. Also the controllers are ok but must be line of sight with console. I did not experience any sound quality or visual degradation. Ships with a component cable not for HD tvs.

        Was excited about the buy at first especially with the free 80 games. Until I played. Now I remember why I didn't buy a Sega Genesis, it's because it sucks plain and simple. I wouldn't pay anymore than $50CDN for this.

        Bought this for my adult son with autism, graphics aren't the best,not sure if it's my tv or not, also has no sound, maybe I'll upgrade to a better one later after I save up more money,

        Wow, great deal. decently built machine with nice responsive wireless controls. Plays old cartridges and comes with decent titles to play. I played primal rage and several Mickey Mouse themed carts and all play well. Great value .

        You get what you pay for.

        The sound is completely off key, and it's a pain to get the batteries in the controller. But it's acceptable as a bare bones emulator and something to play the cartridges on. Good enough for when your budget does not allow for a higher quality product.
