    Budget cam

    Simple to use, and very compact. Lacks some features, though. For example, all the reviews I watched, said the cam sent notificacions to your mobile if you had motion detection turned on. What they don't specified, is that you only get notificacions when your phone is on the same wifi network. No cloud storage either.

    Still trying to figure out how the MI Home 1080 IP is working

    I bought 4 and so far I only unpacked 1 and connceted it and appears OK but I can not view live or recorded video on my PC and I can not record it on my PC in my E drive Or F Drive my external HD. I would be very much interested if the Mi Home Xiaomi would give me some more information like the URL than I can buy a recording and viewing software to help me in using my 4 Mi Home security cameras.

    Fantastic

    Loving this little camera. Easy set up and app is easy to use. I got it so I could check on my aging dog at home, on the days I’m at work. Brings me a lot of solace being able to check in and usually find him sleeping! Thank you!

    I am impressed and you will be too!

    I was blown away by the sophistication this device has. Good layered security and best of all you can choose to save captured videos on memory card or clod service. You can also decide to record all day with preset times, record only when motion is detected or record manually (stops only when you select stop). I must say I am completely impressed by this product. The only con (personal con) is: I use a small desk fan for cooling the unit. It does NOT over-heat but I am very particular about heating when it comes to electronics.
