    Daddario exl 120 strings are the best strings for all around playing!

    When I bought a new guitar I asked for different brands, and the clerk told me what he played with on his guitar, then he showed me some of the music he played... I was amazed by the strength of the strings. And though the guitar shop closed, as the owners wanted to retire, and sold everything they had, they left me some good advice. Daddario strings are the best value out there.

    My favorite strings

    I enjoy the strings because they are light, easy on my fingers and they are fairly priced. Most of my guitars are now fitted with these strings. They are my favorite strings to have on my guitars.

    Sound great and I've never had a badly made one from the factory over the course of years.

    These D'Addario strings have always worked and sounded great for me. I have never had a bad string from them out of a package, whereas I have had several bad strings right out of several different packages over the years with Ernie Ball strings. So, I just always buy D'Addario strings now, and the EXL sets are the best all-around for great tone and long life. I do not like coated strings, so I'll just keep buying these until I cannot play any more. Big plus is that these things are available almost anywhere.

    My brand of strings

    Nothing but good to say about D'Addario strings. I play 5,6 string bass and guitar. All their strings work very well. Smooth finish, excellent construction, tunes easily and no strange harmonics like some DR strings gave me some years ago. And they last a long time, for me. Elixirs are great but these hold their own. Thomas
