      Awesome

      This can give you error codes as well as digitalize pretty much all the running parts of the car (vacuum pressure, 0-60 time, turbo power if your car has it) and lots more that being a generic car owner doesn't know much about. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to do there own repairs or find out more about there car.

      The unit does not work.

      The unit paired briefly with my computer but not for long enough to set up Torque. Multiple attempts to connect by Bluetooth with computers and phones (Apple, Android and Windows) have not succeeded. As I have been unable to find my paperwork for the purchase I had nothing to lose and have opened the cover. Inspection shows one of the connection pins inserted through the circuit board has not been soldered. Can I assume it should be soldered and that it worked briefly because it was making contact until stressed by insertion into the OBD II connector? PHOTO shows a row of large solder pads connected to insertion pins. The top one has not been soldered.

      Handy tool at a good price

      Scanner works well. The installation disc for my laptop was loaded with Russian spyware and viruses so you're better off using a freeware or paid app on your phone to talk to it.

      Shipping was on time. A little disappointed, because it doesn't connect to either three of my vehicles. I only bought this product to start my car. The car starts only with something plugged into the OBD2. Car starts, therefore I'm satisfied.

      Good inexpensive way to monitor car statistics and see trouble codes.

      This is a good cheap tool to send obdII data to your android phone or tablet. Definitely a must have for anyone who is somewhat tech savvy and doesn't mind the setup. If all you want to do is read trouble codes, and you have a hard enough time installing an app on your phone, I would spend 15 bucks more and buy a cheap cabled code reader. NM 181004
