Very good quality product
Sorry so long to review. The product is great, easy to spread with a matt finish, which doesn't darken the stone too much. I had forgotten to review and it is now 2 year since using. The driveway still looks really good with only a few small weeds popping their heads out. very Pleased with the product. Luckily the sealant was in a very strong pressure sealed container as it had been thoroughly bashed in transit. Sorry so long to review. High spent per square meter and develops cracks afterwards
Last year I bought Black Drivemaster Paint Restorer 20ltr and it was brilliant quick to dry, no cracks and easy to use. Admittedly it had some volitile content (solvent based). This is 20ltr Black Tarmac Driveway Paint And Driveway, event after two layers of the paint, the cracks develop when it is drying up. Either on thin or thick layer. To cover circa 60 m2 drive way it took 80 litres (small area too layers) or 1 litre per square meter. Our driveway was somewhat neglected by previous owners, but a year ago I used "Black Drivemaster Paint Restorer 20ltr ". Most importantly the end quality result does not meet my expectation and worse than previously used product. Next year I will switch back to the solvent based one. Last year I bought Black Drivemaster Paint Restorer 20ltr and it was brilliant quick to dry, no cracks and easy to use. Admittedly it had some volitile content (solvent based). I’d had my block paving professionally levelled (due to ants digging out the sand in some areas), cleaned and re-sanded. Looked good. But I wanted it to look good for as long as possible. This product looked up to the job at a reasonable price. I estimated my drive area and ordered a 20L tin, based on the indicative quantities described. The product was perhaps more watery than I was expecting (but never used or seen before). I used a wide squeegee like tool to spread the sealant, once I’d poured it onto the block paving using a jug. Not too scientific. But I emptied the tin in under 30mins. Unfortunately I’d only covered 3/4 of the block paving. So the 6-8m2 per litre estimate on the instructions is completely optimistic. I would estimate 3m2 per litre. So I had to buy a second 20L drum. ... I’d had my block paving professionally levelled (due to ants digging out the sand in some areas), cleaned and re-sanded. Excellent and didn't bubble in the heat of 18th and 19th July 2022.
I painted my mother's driveway with this 10 days ago using a squeegie for large areas and cutting in the edges with a stiff brush. It looks really well and was easy to apply. I mixed it with a paddle on a drill. I had a pleasant surprise this week when it did not soften or bubble in the record-breaking heat (36 degrees C and above) as a fresh coat of tar would have.

I used it to seal my newly laid patio with cemented joints aprox 24M2 area. I brushed the edges and rollered the main area. It did dry slightly darker and patchy, so i applied a second and third coat each about 2 hours apart. it is now looking great and i have about 3/4 of the tin left that i'm offering to friends who need to seal their newly cleaned patios.
