It's a piece of feces. I took 10 readings within 10 minutes: 3 were "normal sinus rhythm", 4 were "unclassified" and one was "possible Atrial Fibrillation". I also have an Apple watch which is far more reliable and consistent with its ECG than this piece of feces. Not worth a penny. Nothing personal with the vendor. Just the device. You'll be sorry for the money you spent.

It is nice to be able to check your heart rate with an app. Sometimes technology is really amazing!

    accurate rhythm recorder

wanted to be able to see my rhythm whenever I felt light headed and this product allows me to do that. I know that this usually costs more but this is the real thing, brand new (still in the box) so I am very happy. I know how to read EKGs and this records accurately with good waveforms (including normal artifact). very durable, easy to use. also allows for others to try it out & after each recording, it will ask if this is me so only my recordings are saved. very happy with this purchase!

  • Top critical review

    Don’t waste your money

I’m a former EMT and the readout this produces looks like mostly artifact. The program will tell you if it saw a normal rhythm or not but if you have an arrhythmia, like I often have, the “strip” readouts are pretty useless and if I were to present them to my cardiologist they would toss it to the side. The readout is so bad no cardiologist would use it as a basis for ordering better testing and I wonder what the FDA was thinking when they approved it. If you have the right type of arrhythmia then your doctor might go off the computer analyze to decide if further testing is justified but otherwise it’s useless.

  • This is awesome!

This is great! Very easy to set up and work! I just set it next to my phone and place my fingers as indicated. Almost instantly my EKG pops up on the screen with a time to tell how long to leave my fingers on. Poof, my EKG is recorded and saved. I got this as a recommendation of my Doctor to regularly way to record my EKG and if there is a problem quickly record my EKG which he said would speed up treatment! Very important! Before you use it you will need to download the app which has other features that could come in handy!

  • Dextrocardia ptient to R/O A. fib vs PACs

I have dextrocardia and have been having funny beats. The Kardia single lead is a lead I on a 12 lead ECG. The best lead to ID the dysrhythmia clearer is when there is a good P-wave form IDed on the rhythm strip for my particular concern, which is lead II. The iWatch does not have the flexability I require. I can tailor the lead placement to allow better ID for me (talk to your cardiologist about lead placement). Kardia is a more clinically useful device.

  • Just what I needed

This product is useful to me because I can provide historical information to my doctor. I have had some irregular heartbeats and it's happening more frequently. To ensure that the doctor understands what I am going through, it's nice to be able to provide him with some data. It is not useful in the sense that I can interpret the data myself. It would be nice to have it be able to provide some interpretation of the data. Enough of an interpretation for us to know if all is well or perhaps you should see a doctor type of interpretation.
