    Still trying to get the machine running but my initial impression is that this belt is just a touch wider than 1/2". I expect it to fit the pulleys better as it runs and breaks in. On the plus side, using the link belt allows me to adjust the belt to a best size and eliminates the need to disassemble the headstock to get a belt through it.
