    Nice piece, looks like high quality rebuild, however it arrived 4 days later than anticipated, it was shipped with Fedex who took it to Dallas and dropped it off at USPS distribution, who sat on it for 3 days, I finally got it on Tuesday at local post office.     Overall good product at a good price

    I ended up rating it a five wish there was a 4.5. Car ran barely upon installation. Took a lot of tuning to get it to run decent. After a 60 mile drive was running rough again. Adjustments vibrated loose. Loctited every thing let it dry 24 hours another drive and stayed in tune. Poor / no instructions guess your suppose to use your car's manual (if you have one).

    Meh

    Thus far it works fine and the car runs, but it still needs to be tuned better. The company could at least include some instruction as to what is meant by cleaning it, and even after I messaged them about it they still told me to take it to my mechanic. If I am only spending $70 on a carb I’m doing it myself to save money and don’t have a mechanic. Other than that it works. But some more helpful customer support or at the very least some vague instructions could go a long way.

    Good carburetor for the money so far, but some important things to note

    This will serve as a good replacement for either a Motorcraft 2100 or 2150 carburetor. You can tell the difference between the two by looking at the bottom - the 2150 bottom flange surface has a more “wishbone” shape. This carburetor emulates the 2150 style in that sense. I used this on my 1965 Ford F100 that has a 289 transplant. Important notes: 1. I had to make some minor (yet noteworthy) modifications to the carburetor - such as dremeling off part of the curbside idle adjustment lever - which requires some cannibalizing of parts from my original Motorcraft 2100 that I was replacing) due to the fact I have a manual choke setup (this carburetor comes with a electric/thermostatic choke). If I didn’t have my old 2100, I would not have been able to do this with just spare parts lying ...

    Fits perfectly right out of box lloks almost the same as D4AE-GA Carburetor on car now.

    Removed old Carburetor and installed this one directly in its place. Minor Vacuum line changes, everything else was the same. Only difference was the screw to mount the air cleaner is not the same. Old one was 5/16 into the Carburetor and 1/4-20 extension to top of air cleaner, new one is 1/4-20 on both ends. Got a universal one from autozone Dorman 41066 just need to cut the screw to length (new part is 9 inches long and old one 4 inches long). Car started right up. Runs great. I'm going to swap the electric choke for the heater hose one now on car to make it look more original and eliminate the need to run an 12V lead from ignition switch to electric choke. FYI car is a 1968 Ford mustang convertible 302V8 automatic transmission. Very happy. I have already recommended this vendor/seller ...
