    A nice upgrade to more convenient (safer) shifting and an added bonus of being able to index shift. This can be used for index shifting on 5, 6, and 7 speed freewheel. For 7 speed freewheels don't bother using the smallest one. Adjust the derailleur to end on the second to last one. Then there is no concern for issues of the derailleur going out of adjustment and having the chain grind on your precious frame.
