Now I don't have to worry about washing it out and getting water in the tank by mistake. Plus I added chrome washer with double back tape to hold cap when filling tank because it is all plastic inside and no metal.

I glued a 3/4” Neodymium magnet to the fuel door ,with a strong adhesive. Works perfect for stowing the cap, when filling up. Better/stronger than a ceramic magnet, holds the cap in place ,even if you forget to put it back on and close the door. Coming from a gasser. The cap helps to remind me to put DIESEL,FUEL,IN THE TRUCK not gasoline.
