      A nice light Assam for any time of the day!

      Ahmad Teas by the pound are a great value. They are traditional, well grown teas from Ceylon, and Assam. This tea is "thinner" and less strong than Barooti Assam. I usually prefer a stronger, maltier flavor in Assam teas. But I really appreciate Kalami Assam for its own merits. Being less strong, it is a wonderful tea in its own right for any time of the day. Being lighter, it makes a nice stand alone cup at night before bed, or after breakfast in the morning. The tea has a pure, clean taste on the palate, and is not heavy in any way. I consider this a real winner among teas I've tried.
