    Accurate replacement

    It does everything a connecting rod is supposed to do. Engine is assembled, installed and running great. Failure of previous connecting rod caused by head gasket failure, coolant entering cylinder. Coolant doesn't compress, pressure had to go somewhere = piston disintegrated, connecting rod broke in half and ventilated block. To prevent this issue, use solid thread inserts, placed at deepest part of head bolt depth to ensure full length of bolt stretch when torquing down head.

    Replacement for OEM part.

    We had a vehicle come to the shop that had experienced a rod bearing failure and developed an engine knock. Tear down of the engine assembly showed damage to a single rod and journal assembly on the crankshaft. This kit gave us the needed items to repair the engine without buying several parts that were not needed. The crankshaft was original OEM specifications and worked well for us. I will send more of my business this way for similar needs in the future.

    Great kit

    I got it for 2007 Scion tC great kit only thing is I didn’t like the graphite head gasket I would have liked a mls gasket but it’s a great kit after all and the car is running great.
