I tested two of them since I am on site and have a lab here to test them. The filtration is not quite as good as made to believe but it will work in an emergency as long as not to many contaminates are in water found. I would not however use these in any situation that was not an emergency as the filtration, like I said, is NOT as good as claimed. Coliform was present in test water and also present in filtered water afterwards.

It came in new condition as described and is a reasonable alternative it seems to the Honeywell branded filters. I marked down for communication because I asked a question on a different product and never received a response after two attempts of communication.
