    Inexpensive and it works

    It appears far cheaper than its competitors. I works fine. You need to download software to print out decent graphics, but when you have done so it's fine. I am totally happy with it.

    Hardware is very good except for poor battery life.

    The device did show ECG traces from leads V1, V2 and V3 and recorded them. It was powered by 2 AA batteries and after a couple of hours recording the batteries were flat. It definitely wouldn't record for 24 hours. A few functions worked in the PC program including printout of sections of ECG recordings and some ability to measure their parameters. The selection of files for playback was totally incomprehensible and the main file created ECG_WAVE.BIN couldn't be opened at all! The user software manual shows many really useful functions including Pacemaker functions but I have not been able to get any of them to work. If all the software functions actually worked this would be a fantastic piece of kit.
