    XRM10 and the lack of the Radio Data System (RDS)

    The Makita XRM10 radio is built like a tank the fit and finish is excellent and sounds good but for it being the most expensive Makita radio am wondering why it lacks something i liked in my other Makita radios. The feature that is lacking in the XRM10 is the Radio Data System (RDS) this is a feature in all of my other Makita radios that will display things like song text information, display radio station call letters and set the time display automatically. The ADRM06, XRM06, LXRM03 radios have it but the XRM10 does not have it. Also the display has a rather dingy gold hue to it and the display fonts look primitive in comparison to all the other Makita radios I own. Also the power supply is very large and this would have been much better with just a simple power cord that could be ...
