    Delivered as promised! This is the Japanese version of the Sony NW-zx707. It is a beautifully designed player and being the Japanese version also offers a high gain volume switch unlike US version. It is essentially an android based iPod with built in high quality dac/headphone amp. It easily drives my sennheiser HD660s2 headphones , and sounds great. I loaded Apple Music and streamed right away. I also installed a micro SD card with some .flac files. They played fine of course.

    This player is fantastic! Brand new as described and Japanese version so it does not have the volume cap limiter and high gain option is available. The cost was reasonable although there was a Customs charge before delivery. Can’t really complain at all considering it took only about 5 days to get this. Excellent seller and will order from again if given the opportunity.

    Sony NW ZX 707 Review

    Positives: Well made - very good sound - good battery life - doesn't get hot - lots of sound adjustments to play with - with high gain the volume is perfectly adequate 90% of the time - but a little short for the 10% of times you want to blow your brains out. Negatives - The screen tactile response is pretty laggy. Recommend buying the banks silicon case - really cool.

    Great HIFI device for high definition digital music.

    This is exactly what I was looking for. Able to load my own music and download HIFI music from streaming platform. Sounds great and easy to use. No volume limit like in the american devices.

If you intend to play your own music files from your PC, you'll need to do some extra steps. It just wouldn't play files that you copy from PC to micro SD due to Sony's copyright policy. It's my first day playing around with this player and so far so good. It's everything you would expect from Sony.
