      An exceptional package of one the greatest trilogies in Hong Kong film history

      For the longest time I avoided this film in spite of considering The Departed as my favorite Scorsese film. I just didn't see how Infernal Affairs could top it (and I am a huge Hong Kong film buff). When I finally got around to watching it I was entranced. I had to watch the second and third film because I became so caught up in the whole sweeping saga with all the twists and turns. I have never been a big Andy Lau fan (although I loved Running Out of Time) but his performance was incredible. But it was the performance of Eric Tsang that shocked me. I first saw him in My Lucky Stars and all the iterations of that film series and he was idelibly etched as the goofball lunatic comedic fool. I had no idea he had such range as an actor.
