    The seller is great. The product lacks in a few areas. There are no guides on the felt pads unlike those found on the deep cleaning pads. This makes it almost impossible to keep the pads on both tracks when using only the felt pads with the handle attached. Secondly, the cleaning fluid/oil actually made the track less conductive, not more causing my locomotive to stall in several places it did not prior to cleaning the track. So I will go back to using my old stand by oderless mineral spirits.

    Rail Cleaner by Woodland Scenics

    You ask is it entertaining, well if cleaning 300 feet of railroad track every week or two entertaining, I guess that could be call entertaining. After all my spouse says I easy entertained. As for ease of use, very easy to use, does it work, yes it works very well. I like it and for me it is a good investment.

    Very versitile

    There are a variety of pads that are useful at different levels of dirst, various grades of abrasiveness, but this product has some decent versatility, by allowing the pads to be reversible, you can use then on plain track using the groves for high efficiency, or the flat side to get over all your point work. they even include some cleaning liquid. I use the 2nd most abrasive rubbery pads as the first use (my track isn't that bad) and instant improvement! the box also has space for extras, like my spare dust monkeys!

    Great Product

    I’ve got close to 2500 feet of N scale track. I’ve tried several track cleaning products including bright boy, fine abrasive pads, liquid chemical cleaners, 3 types of track cleaning cars. This is the best and easiest to use so far. There are four options for different levels of cleaning. I like the fact the cleaning pads are grooved to keep them aligned to the rail. There are a couple of draw backs. The system does not work well on turnouts, and in a few locations where I had to spike the track.

    Ok for the price you pay.

    Good value for the money, works well. I can clean those hard to get places on my N scale layout. Only down side is the extension arm is not long enough or is it adjustable. You must add a peace of PVC like the instructions point out, but the correct size of PVC is not a snug fit over the handle.
