The item itself was not what I was looking for, but I could not tell by the pictures—nobody's fault. I am looking for a Teflon-safe spatula that is not made of plastic or silicone. The edge on the front of this product was not thin enough or at an angle to make picking up an egg easy enough. The edge needs to be on the pan side and this came to a rounded edge in the center. It was also too narrow for flipping an egg or fish.

Here's how they packed it: open box - toss item into the bottom of the box, take some paper packing and toss it on top of item, close box, tape the seam, apply shipping label. I received the item. Shook box slightly - and you could hear the item rattling around inside the box. The item was 19 inches long - and the box was 36 inches long. Item was not damaged. If I spoke with the seller, I would suppose this reply, "We didn't do it."
