    Clinoptilolite Zeolite Blend Is Superior To Activated Charcoal Alone In Maintaining A Healthy Freshwater Aquarium IMO

    The blend of clinoptilolite zeolite and activated carbon works much better at reducing ammonia levels and maintaining water clarity than using activated carbon alone. I have tested this by taking water samples from both filter mediums to my local fish store to be checked and the clinoptilolite zeolite blend provided better results

    Caution

    I used this product on 2 fish tanks, 55gal. and 40 gal., twice. I washed the product thoroughly, but both tanks became cloudy. Filters would NOT clear the cloud. Had to do water change.
