The Glock Field Knife provides users with a rugged cutting utensil that is as beautiful as it is useful. This carbon steel model blade was made in Austria by the producers of Glock firearms. It stands up to corrosion with a black phosphate treatment that protects the hardened spring steel alloy polymer blade. Use this knife to field dress a 9-point buck, clean trout, or in a throwing competition with no sign of pitting or rust. Developed in close cooperation with the Austrian Army Special Forces, this tool provides high-precision performance in a large array of applications, all while sporting an attractive design. It also weighs a light 7.1 ounces, boosting its effectiveness in situations that require quick action. As the blade is fixed, a sheath comes in handy for safe storage. The blade’s coating keeps it from rusting while also helping it to slide smoothly through rougher surfaces and tighter spaces. While having a variety of firearms is an important part of prepping, a knife offers something that handguns, rifles, and pistols cannot. A knife does not require ammunition, which allows it to be an effective backup weapon for your pistol, rifle, or other self-defense tools. It can also be adapted to use as a bayonet for your rifle. One other reason those who are well-prepared include it in their survival kits is the balanced handle weight that allows almost anyone, experienced or less so, to handle it easily. The sheath field knife has a cross bar that provides safety for your hands. Users can aggressively saw through materials or perform other tasks with the tool, all while keeping their hand protected.
