    Just what i was looking for!!

    It is great. The only thing is the antenna was broken at the end...Just like the one i had...But it still works great. And the remote works great. power button on the device needs to be tapped a few times to turn off.....But the sound is great....I have one just like it.The sound died. I like this because it's old school with no Bluetooth. Just your basic battery or plug in with an antenna. And a remote,with a sleep timer option. Great for when the power goes out. Oh and there isn't scratch on it...So it was well worth the money for me. I gave it 4 stars because they should have mentioned the antenna...which i ordered a new one on Amazon . (not expensive)

    I like it.

    Because I have a lot high-quality prerecorded cassette music tapes, I have a need for a good quality cassette/CD boombox. And after researching most of the old fashion boomboxes, I think this was one of the best designs. I had a very hi-tech Panasonic model with dual reversing cassette decks & a moterized slide out CD drawer, that eventually failed on me. So what I wanted was a boombox, with enough hi-tech for good performance, but not a lot of hi-tech extra gadgets that will easily break. After trying out this Sony CFD-S350, I was pleased with its' preformance & its' simple durability.

    This is my third Sony CD player. All still working placed in office, kitchen and bedroom.

    It is just like the other two I have and I wanted another one. It has many features I like. I listen to nearly 200 audio-books annually plus play some music on these Sony Boombox CD players. They survive my constant use for several years.
