    Made in Taiwan. Good quality.

    Balance is perfect, well made and designed. It's imported but that's what you get for the price. The grinding job is very good and sharp. Just some light work will make it super sharp or as fits your needs. D2 is a very hard steel. Use diamond hone or silicone carbide sharpening stones. You can finish on a natural hard stone. Makes a nice gift, buy 2 and you won't regret it. It's heavy and tough, could get heavy on the belt with long hiking but fine for car or pack. The sheath has a perfect fit and no noises. Has many options for strapping. You can search Youtube for reviews and more information. Reminder, this is NOT stainless steel so needs oil and care to prevent rusting. Handle is hard rubber and feels awkward because of the shape. It's round with cut outs on both sides. Full tang and ...

    Product received not as pictured

    The description ("Cold Steel Leatherneck Tanto 39LSFCT") and picture match, of a knife with a cord-wrapped handle. The knife I received was a plain-vanilla Cold Steel GI Tanto with a reel full of some type of cord - I guess to wrap the grip with? My review? Cold Steel makes good knives, and the GI Tanto is a good knife - it is NOT a Leatherneck Tanto, which is what I was led to believe I was ordering.
