      BMW forum recommended brand

      Well my 1991 BMW E30 transmission was in need of a rebuild after the trans shop was done rebuilding he recommend to use fully synthetic dextron 4 oil & stick with that brand. So I look at the bmw forum 8 out 10 recommend Redline D4 trans oil. As the transmission was dry I needed 8 qts of oil and nobody in this state was selling this oil this was the best deal of getting it. So only time will tell if this oil was worth the price.

      Simply The Best

      I have been using this D4 ATF for years in my Nissan D21’s transfer case. Along with the Refline MT-90 GL4 in my transmission. It’s the perfect combination for older small 4WD’s like Nissan Hardbody‘s and Toyotas. I’m guessing it works just as well in full size trucks. But I just put it in my transfer case. The factory service manual calls for Dexron 2 which D4 is a direct replacement for. It’s pricey but I want the best to keep this old high mile mile truck going forever. My goal is to get 400k out of it and I’m certain I will get there.
