      I have one of these already, purchased back in 2006 timeframe. I wanted another for a special event for dual angle / perspective capture. While it is true that the new SDHC cards will not work without a firmware update, as long as you use up to 32Gb and at least class 6, there should not be any issues. I have captured a lot of video at the highest resolution settings (basically 4K) and playback on 3D 4K TV and it’s like you were there. For the price (under $200) is hard to beat this camera.
