        Wonderful handling and outstanding lens quality for a zoom lens body. Now outdated processing speed.

        I owned and used this camera for many years and recently, after years with Canon 5D and Olympus OMD microfourthirds mirrorless, brought it out for a day of shooting; result: first place in Mid State Fair photography competition for professional category photographers, black and white landscapes. Control buttons everywhere externally allow easy access and control. Fits your hand like a glove. Only problem nowadays is that the processing of images in the camera are much slower that we are now used to for fine quality images the camera can produce. Still a recommended experience at a good price. Hopefully Olympus will recreate this classic beauty!

        The camera that turned me to digital

        This is the camera that convinced me to convert to digital after decades of film photography. Built like a pro camera, its feature set at its time was awesome. I sold mine when I updated to the Oly E series and recently, finally re-purchased it to sit it next to my first Oly OM2n. After 18 years from its introduction, this is an iconic camera which, within its obvious limitations, is still a perfectly usable camera. I claim that it is not easy to use because, like most digital cameras, its feature set is so vast that it requires diligently reading of the manual to figure out what it can do and how to make it do it.

        Has image quality only equaled by cameras ten times the cost!

        Its use is as easy as a Canon but the image quality challenges Leica.

        One of the best cameras for reasonable prices.

        Easy to learn how to make great photos with this camera. It appears to be very reliable and makes me a better photographer than I really am. I was going to sell it and made a good decision to keep it as a great back-up camera. I love the ergonomics of this camera!
