    A very underrated excellent Signature Stratocaster.

    I love it. I also own two other American Standard Stratocasters. I wanted to get a Strat with a slightly thicker tone, and a real Floyd Rose locking tremolo. While you can get traditional Strat tones from these pickups, they are their own animal. Always a little hesitant at buying a Mexican made Strat because of a MIM Standard I bought a few years ago. The neck work was poor precision and it was unable to get acceptable lower action, and the tone block for the tremolo was that cheap metal that dampens the tone. On a side note, if you own a MIM Strat, a huge upgrade in tone is to change out the tremolo block to solid steel. This Signature Guitar has exceeded expectation though. The neck work on the one I have, has very low action without fret buzz. Lower than on my two other American ...

    Extremely versatile

    This is by far the most versatile guitar I have played. The Floyd Rose sits against the wood which helps sustain. The pickup combo is spot on with two hot rails and a JB Jr in the neck.
