    full of nourishment

    The birds love it. Just wish the pellets were a bit larger as they tip the small ones out of the feeder and it means me refilling 3 times daily. Very good quality though and great to have insects incorporated into the pellets.

    Are my birds just fussy?

    I've said Yes to the value, quality etc questions, but I have severe reservations. I think that if "my" birds hadn't been eating the pellets of another manufacturer for several generations, they may have taken to these. However, from getting through about 800 grams a day of other pellets, they won't touch these at all! Had to keep sweeping them up and binning them at the end of the day. I never guessed wild birds could be so fussy. I've stopped offering these pellets and will try them again later in the year, when maybe the birds may have forgotten their favourites.

    Birds wont eat.

    I bought this because it appeared fantastic value and I was getting through approx 2 kilo of suet pellets per week. Since I have changed to this product the birds have not touched the feeders with it in, clearly they don't like it and have a preference for other brands. I thought it was a blip but several weeks past and the feeders remained full. I switched back to a different brand and the birds returned so I can only come to the conclusion that not all suet is the same.

    Don't buy this product.

    Starmer always comes up as the cheapest suet pellets. I bought them for years with no problem. About 9 months ago I bought 2 12.5 kg boxes. the contents of which were clumped up, and the birds would not touch them. I reported this to Starmer, who replaced one box, but, despite continuing communication, wolud not replace the other.I have not bought from them since, until this batch. They try to hide their identity, and fooled me into thinking I was buying from another supplier this time. The birds again will not eat these pellets.

    Birds will not eat them

    I bought these thinking they were good value. Seem to be mixed reviews so thought give it a try. The birds will not eat them. Have changed them for fresh and still will not eat them. Will leave for another week or so to see if they change their habit but may need to throw them away. A waste of money so I cannot recommend anyone to buy these going by what the birds are doing. They fly down check them out and fly off without eating any.
