    Look nice, but...

    They appear close to the original. I had one original, so that why I say that. Anyway, the fit was shallow or very tight. I actually had to widen the threaded part and drill about a 1/4" deeper inside. When I 1st installed it they stuck up about 3/8" above the eyelet at the door panel. That's why I had to modify it the best I could. Still a touch high, when door is locked. Better than not having one. I probably still have some play to drill deeper, yet I'm fine with it. All in all, a decent part. $6.50 would be more realistic on price. Guess beggars can't be choosers, as the saying goes. Btw, this was installed on 1979 trans am.
