These are not planetary gear heads but what’s inside the gearbox was a pleasure to find nonetheless. This is Maxon stuff. The gears are precision and mirror polished. They run on polished carbide 1.5mm shafts inside a nicely machined but simple case. Gears are easy to arrange into custom gearboxes. Made to run forever on carbide and hardened stainless steel gears. I’ve pushed 54vdc through the coreless motor and it screams with fierce power defying it’s size and weight.
