You must securely replace it in the sheath (listen for a click) in order for the quick release to operate. It's just like in the video. The thumb screw on the base of the blade, just forward of the swivel catches to open it instantaneously upon draw. Sheath latch is attached to Kidex with hex bolts. Has a lock on the bottom to unlock the swivel to open the latch, unscrew and reverse the latch for left side carry. Get two; one for each side. These r slick!

I reached out to the seller and his response was basically go buy a box to put it in. Seriously??
