    these are what we use to call winter bdu they are more like a blue jeans material i dont think they are rip stop as i don't see the squares or checkers whatever you want to call em all in all they are still serviceable i just wouldn't field them in the warmer weather for those who dont know before we went to digital uniforms we had bdu uniforms and we were issued a total of 8 half summer half winter uniforms but this only applies to bdu uniforms dcu and digital uniforms were the same regardless
