      Very nice but larger than I expected.

      I bought this (as a surprise) for my 86 year old Mother who is pre-dementia and cannot remember what day it is and also has AMD so her vision is not great. It is good quality and would do the job BUT she really disliked how big it was and refused to use it. I'm keeping it, but I had to find something else to the job I wanted this to do. Also - not sure if it said this in the "feature" section but the displays on this have different levels of brightness, which would be a nice bonus if you're using it in a bedroom. I do recommend it - but if it's for someone finicky you may want to verify the size and where you're going to be using it first.

      Frustrating

      I bought this for my dad who has early dimentia & forgets what day it is. I don't understand the whole "atomic" concept & the directions are very vague & do not explain it. So every once in a while the thing will just change the date to a different month & day. It's frustrating that I have to keep resetting it. And having the date on it was the main reason for purchasing it. The clock is great, when correct. I love the back light, the size is nice and it's easy to read. I need to do some research to learn about the atomic concept. Otherwise it is no good for what I wanted it for.

      This has everything my dad needed. The print is large, it is not confusing. Part of the reason I chose this one is that it is backlit (and it's pretty bright) so my dad can see at any time if it is am or pm. It is easy to program and can be plugged in or batter powered. It has time zones and I noticed there are different languages , but not sure how many. Overall this is perfect for my purpose.
