    pretty but scratches easily

    When the watch arrived it was gorgeous, pristine, shiny, and no blemishes whatsoever. The date is hard to read. For the size of the watch, the date area could be larger and not appear to be recessed in a dark hole. After very light wear and being very careful not to rub it with anything but a clean glasses cloth, scratches have appeared on the bezel and on the band. Comparing it to watches I have had for years, I believe the material to be inferior. Still it is a pretty watch that keeps time and does not need a battery.
