I would recommend a longer hose length though because this was a PAIN to install because of the short length. While it is approximately the same size as the hose that it replaced, it is too short to attach it in both places without a struggle (unless you take apart the entire vacuum, I guess). I did get it installed, but it is not fully secured like it should be due to the length so it may pop out at some point. Will see.
